Friends of the Farmington Library Seek Donations to the Annual Giving Tree

The Friends of the Farmington Library are collecting books to be given to an area charity to provide children with the gift of reading.

Donations are requested of books for birth through high school age children, and may be brought to the Barney Branch or the Main Library beginning on Monday, November 19 until Wednesday, December 19, 2012.

Suggestions include soft baby books, multicultural picture books, stories of holiday celebrations in other countries, fiction, non-fiction for older children and positive ethnic stories and poems. We ask that you take a tag from the tree with a suggested age group and include it with your new unwrapped book donation.
